The Habach Valley emerald hunt is for young and old, and definitely worth the adventure. We go comfortably in the morning into one of the many National Park valleys in the "Emerald Express" taxi. The expedition can then begin. Armed with a hammer and chisel the hunt for the most beautiful gems begins. A walk along the little brook can often provide a couple of surprises. Who has the best "nose" and who finds the most beautiful gems?

The most beautiful gems are filtered out on a large sheet of iron at the washing site. The innermost parts of the larger gems are also investigated with the tools. And a modest picnic in between or a little nap in the sun rounds off a richly adventurous day...
