To ensure that you can spend your family vacation at Baby- und Kinderhotel Habachklause as carefree as possible, we have developed comprehensive measures against Covid-19. We adhere to the recommendations and guidelines of the Austrian federal government.

In our 4-star Familotel Habachklause delightful vacation wonders await the whole family, in every season. Nestled between the Hohe Tauern National Park and the Kitzbühel Alps lies our wonderful vacation region - the Wildkogel Arena. The absolute natural paradise can be found right on our doorstep. In winter and spring, snowy views enchant with skiing, cross-country skiing and tobogganing pleasure as well as with sporty ski tours. Summer and autumn delight with breathtaking mountain scenery during leisurely family hikes and digging for hidden emeralds in the famous Habachtal, which gives us our name and also begins directly behind the hotel.

So pack your bags, get in the car and off you go to the Valley of Emeralds - only about 2 hours drive from Munich/Salzburg/Innsbruck.

Your safe journey to Habachklause

A safe transit without a stopover through a German or Austrian risk state is possible at any time. This also applies to flight and train arrivals, as the borders to Austria are open.

Please bring your own mouth-nose protection for adults and children over 6 years of age. You will need this during a stopover or when running errands locally (e.g. visits to pharmacies, stores) and at our hotel. We also recommend that you bring your own hand disinfectant or disinfectant wipes for excursions.

In the hotel there are service stations in the entrance hall/restaurant/wellness area/farmhouse 1st floor as well as in the baby/happy club and in the toilets.
Each service station is equipped with disinfectant foam, disposable gloves, disinfectant wipes, tissues and disinfectant gel, as well as a trash can.

Check-In and arrival at the hotel

Wearing a mouth-nose protection is necessary for all guests from 6 years up, as well as for employees. At the reception desk there is an additional glass partition.

During your stay at Habachklause

Our priority is that our guests and employees stay healthy and feel comfortable. During your stay, a mouth-nose protection is necessary in all public indoor areas, we appeal to your personal responsibility.

The most important rules of conduct:

  • Please wear your personal mouth-nose protection in all public indoor areas, especially in the restaurant & buffet area. At the table it is of course not necessary to wear the mask. Children up to 6 years of age are exempt from wearing the MNS in the entire hotel area.
  • Keep at least 2 meters of distance from other persons, except towards your own family/travel community
  • Refrain from handshakes and hugs
  • Wash hands several times a day with soap and water for at least 30 seconds
  • Sneeze or cough into the crook of your arm or into a handkerchief
  • Be considerate of other hotel guests

Reception and guest services

Our reception team is there for you daily from 8:00 to 20:00. At the reception you will find all brochures for excursions.

The sale of newspapers/magazines is currently not allowed. The room folder is now available digitally in the form of the Gastfreund app. We recommend that you also download the Wildkogel app for iPhone or other smartphones, with all the important information about the Wildkogel Arena/Bergbahnen Wildkogel.

We ask for your understanding that we do not comment on complaints regarding guest behavior. Here, too, we appeal to personal responsibility and respectful cooperation.

Restaurant & buffet

In the restaurant and buffet area, your personal mouth-nose-protection must be worn. At the table, of course, wearing the mask is not necessary. Children up to 6 years of age are exempt from wearing the mouth-nose-protection in the entire hotel area. Please bring your own mouth-nose protection.

Our 4 rooms, the lounge and the covered terrace invite you to stay, enjoy and be together.

For breakfast and dinner you have your fixed table in one of the rooms or in the lounge. At noon and in the afternoon you can sit in the "Stüberl", in the lounge or on the terrace. The required minimum distance between the tables must be observed.

Breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, salads and either starters or desserts are still served buffet style. There are plenty of fresh food tongs available, after use please put them in the containers provided.
Please remember to keep the recommended safety distance at the buffet and in the entire restaurant area and to make regular use of hand disinfection. You will also find disposable gloves at the service stations.

Show cooking will still take place. A glass divider is provided for safety.

Juice, coffee and tea bars are still available for self-service. Disinfection is also performed here on a regular basis.

We are also happy to serve drinks and bottled wines to your room. The service team is there for you daily until at least 10:30 pm.

Pool, sauna & wellness

Our entire wellness area including saunas and indoor water playground is open from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm daily. No access is possible from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm, as cleaning takes place during this time. In the wellness area, the mouth-nose-protection must be worn only when entering and leaving.

We follow the recommendations and guidelines of the Austrian Federal Ministry:

  • Indoor & outdoor swimming pool, children's pool - minimum distance of 2 m.
  • Sun loungers can be placed as you wish, but here too the safety distance from "other people's" loungers applies.
  • Saunas, steam bath, tepidarium - one family or related persons per cabin.

We appeal to the consideration of other guests, so that every guest has the opportunity to use the pools and saunas. Thank you very much!

Healing Hand Spa

Our generous offer of massage and cosmetic treatments can be booked without restrictions. Please make an appointment at the reception. The cost of the treatment will be charged directly to your hotel bill.

Please come to the waiting area of the Healing Hand Spa in the Wellness Tower in your bathrobe 5 minutes before the start of your treatment. You will be welcomed by our spa team and brought to the treatment room. You also need to wear your mouth-nose-protection here.

We recommend a gentle warm-up in the tepidarium before each treatment. This is also located in the waiting area of the Healing Hand Spa and is reserved exclusively for spa guests with an appointment.

Baby- & child care, playgrounds

Our baby and kids club care team is there for you every day. As many activities as possible take place outside in the fresh air. The absolute highlight is the new creative and craft room in the farm building. You can find more information about that in the children's program.

The stay in the Happy-Club and all its premises is only possible for the Happy-Club team and the children to be looked after. It is therefore a parent-free area - the handover takes place at the entrance. Please take off your shoes and wash or disinfect your hands beforehand. A service booth is located directly in front of the entrance to the Happy-Club.
The club closes daily at 20:00 - after which sufficient disinfecting and cleaning is done. The premises remain closed overnight and reopen during childcare hours.

Excursions and walks with families organized by the Happy Club do not take place at the moment.

Weekends & public holidays: 1:00 - 8:00 pm

The playground and sandbox are accessible to all our guests. You can get disinfectant wipes for playground equipment at the service stand in the hotel entrance area or middle floor exit staircase in the hotel as well as in the farmhouse 1st floor and at the transition from the main to the farmhouse.

For baby care please bring your own pacifier and bottle.

Children up to 6 years of age do not need mouth-nose-protection.
Baby and Happy Club teams wear mouth-nose-protection indoors only, it is not required when playing outside in the fresh air.

Indoor playground restrictions due to Corona measures:
The parent-child play area on the Happy Club premises is currently only accessible to children in care. Parents do not have access. Alternatively, there is a small play corner in the basement, next to the Fun & Action Park, which can be used by parents with children outside of care. Furthermore, there are currently no balls in the ball pool of the Fun & Action Park.

Pony riding & petting zoo at our farm

Our ponies are waiting for you! Riding lessons and pony riding can be booked at the reception, the costs will be charged to your hotel bill after the riding lesson.

Erika, Doris and Laura, our riding instructors, will of course have disinfectant ready for you in the pony stable. You are welcome to disinfect your riding helmet and reins yourself.
As part of the Happy-Club program, the kids can take a ride one the ponies free of charge; this takes place 3 times a week, please check the children's program for times.

The petting zoo animals can also be visited as usual. The daily animal feeding with Erika takes place in the late afternoon. The reception team will tell you the exact time.

Relaxed cancellation conditions due to Covid 19

In the event of ongoing or short-term official Covid 19 measures (e.g. lockdown, mandatory quarantine for returnees, entry or exit ban, travel warnings / risk area, border closures, etc.), the booking can be rebooked or canceled free of charge after consultation with our reservation team or a voucher can be issued, which is redeemable for an unlimited period of time. This procedure applies to all price rates.

Please note:

  • Requests for rebooking, cancellation or value voucher are only possible if it is certain that the vacation cannot take place in the planned period due to the above measures or if the measures have already been communicated publicly.

  • Our offer does not include a guarantee that ski & hiking resorts will have their lifts open. The opening is also subject to the requirements of the Austrian Federal Government. Therefore, this can also not be recognized as a reason for cancellation.

  • If you cannot start your vacation with us because you are in quarantine due to a covid disease in your private environment or in your own family, this has to be covered by your private travel insurance. We recommend that you make sure that such a case is included in your travel insurance. We will charge for the not started vacation according to our regular cancellation conditions.

  • If the arrival is basically possible and no official Covid-19 measures are upright, which make a journey to us or the stay with us impossible, the regular cancellation conditions apply depending on the booked price rate.

We generally recommend to book your own and also suitable travel insurance. Please check when signing the contract that a cancellation, no arrival due to a covid infection, trip interruption or even quarantine measures for extra nights on site are included. We will bill you for the booked vacation and the possible quarantine extension nights and you will receive the reimbursement from your insurance company.

A booked travel cancellation insurance via Habachklause will be transferred to the new reservation in case of a rebooking or a value voucher. In case of cancellation, the costs of the insurance cannot be refunded.

Happy-Card from Familotel:

Early Bird Rate - Best price

When booking the early bird rate, the Happy Card cannot be taken into account.

90 - 31 days before arrival  40 % from the total amount + € 35,- processing fee
30 - 8 days before arrival 70 % from the total amount + € 35,- processing fee

Rebooking:
For early bird reservations a one-time rebooking is possible up to 30 days before arrival for a fee of € 35,-. The deposit already paid will be transferred to the new reservation. Maximum rebooking period 365 days from the announcement of the not possible start of the journey.

The confirmed booking amount according to the first booking may not be reduced, all hotel additional services will be credited. After that the regular cancellation conditions apply. In case of last-minute rebooking due to illness (doctor's certificate required), please contact the Habachklause reservation team as soon as possible.

General booking information

Booking guarantee:
With sending the booking confirmation the reservation is binding. The room is firmly reserved at the time of booking, the booking guarantee is made when the deposit is received.

Travel insurance:
Familotel recommends taking out hotel cancellation insurance through Allianz Travel. In case of cancellation, the cancellation conditions will be applied, the settlement with the insurance company must be made by the customer.

Refund of services not consumed:
All Habachklause price rates are bound to the reservation confirmation. If the number of persons decreases during the booked arrangement, e.g. due to early departure or interruption for days, there will be no price reduction. This also applies to services not used, such as childcare, meals, additional services ...

Guaranteed room request:
For an extra charge of EUR 10,-/night there is the possibility to book a fixed room number or suites with special equipment such as laminate flooring, carpeting, bathtub or special room layout, provided that the desired room type is still available.

Rental of bicycles, buggies, back carriers & pedal cycles

The bike rental is available without restrictions. For the disinfection of bicycle balance, rental helmets and children's seats please help yourself at the service stands. The same applies to pedal cycles, buggies and back carriers.

E-bikes can be rented for a fee at various sports stores in Bramberg and Neukirchen. We recommend a reservation at the latest the day before.

Cleaning of rooms, suites and public areas

Our hotel rooms and suites are cleaned as usual with the utmost care. You have the option to choose between a large or small cleaning every day or, if desired, to do without cleaning on this day. The information sheet on cleaning is in the hotel room. If you have any questions or suggestions, the reception team will be happy to help you.

All bed linen and hand/bath towels are washed and cleaned at 80 degrees according to the specified hygiene standards. Nevertheless we should put the environmental thought in the foreground and let exchange towels only if really necessary. A clothes rack is located on each balcony.

All public areas are thoroughly cleaned daily. For hygiene we have used three of our most important suppliers: the companies Ecolab, Ada and Hollu Systemhygiene GmbH. They advise and train our team with the right measure and handling for cleaning and disinfection.

During the cleaning in the room our employees do not wear mouth-nose-protection - except when they come into direct contact with you and cannot keep the minimum distance.

Illness during vacation

What happens if a family member feels sick during our Habachklause vacation and is suspected of having a Covid 19 infection?
Please contact the reception first by phone, then with the health number 1450 without area code from your cell phone to answer health questions and clarify the further procedure.
The respective family stays in their booked room, is not allowed to have any contact with other people, the supply is ensured (e.g. food and drinks in front of the door).

What happens if the hotel or the region is quarantined during our stay?
Our top priority is the health of all guests and the staff team. Again, the agency's crisis team will decide what measures to take.

Can we travel if I or someone in my family feels ill?
Please travel only if you are in good health. In order to comply with the cancellation policy, it is absolutely necessary to send us a medical certificate.

Do we need travel insurance?
We generally recommend that you take out your own and suitable travel insurance. Please check when signing the contract that cancellation, no arrival due to illness, travel interruption or even possible quarantine measures on site are included.
We as the hotel will invoice you for the booked vacation and you will receive the reimbursement from your insurance company.
