At the 1st learning farm in Austria, open stalls with the opportunity to get up close and personal with ponies, cows, pigs, rabbits, geese, ducks, goats, cats, bunnies, and guinea pigs can be very exciting.
There is plenty to discover at Habachklause farm. Displays in German and English introduce the animals and convey child-appropriate information. They will learn where milk comes from, what young goats are called, and much more.
Life on a farm can be pretty intense for little kids. Four-legged friends are not satisfied forever with just petting - they also want to be fed regularly.
You can bring your rabbit or guinea pig with you, so they won't miss out the vacation. They of course get a free stall and fresh feed from the kitchen.
Off we go! We visit our animals in their stalls and in the meadows with the Kidsclub. Also we introduce you to our farm animals, show you the stable of the ponies and where the rabbits live. Together we will learn what the animals like to eat, how to pet each of them correctly and what their names are.
The farm rally ends with a contest to see who knows the most about cows, ponies, sheep, goats, pigs, rabbits, geese, rabbits, and guinea pigs. So pay attention and you can win!
Everyone should have a chance to ride a horse. It will give a whole new meaning to the phrase “on your high horse”.
Every child is excited - pony riding from April till November! Twice a week you can try riding a horse while you are with the caregivers from the Kidsclub for free. Please have a look at the Klausi's News to know when it takes place.
Riding a pony has to be learned. Attention kids! Make sure you get your Pony Star Card at the reception desk. Then if you take five half-hour lessons the sixth one is free. Our riding instructors Erika and Michelle show you how to saddle correctly, sit on the horseback and how to guide a pony. The riding lessons can be booked in advance or locally at the hotel reception.
You are well practiced, can ride a pony yourself and also saddle it? If that is the case, you can have the pony for your own - half an hour costs € 8.-. Children have to be in supervision of an adult. We kindly ask you to check availability at the hotel reception.
The best pony for a carriage-ride is Bergö. Enjoy the air stream in the carriage and the landscape. The best place is directly beside the coachman.
Carriage-rides with the pony can be reserved at the hotel reception in winter time.
