Is the Nationalpark SummerCard included in my stay?
No, the Nationalpark SummerCard is not included when staying at the Habachklause. It cannot be purchased separately either, as we are not a participating accommodation provider.
We have consciously decided against membership: the cost of the SummerCard would have to be added to the room rate for every night and every family member, including children—regardless of how often the included services are actually used. Many families do not take a paid excursion every day. In addition, many attractions have limited opening hours or are completely closed, particularly in May and October, while guests would still have to pay the full cost of the SummerCard.
For this reason, the current pricing model does not align with our commitment to fair and transparent rates. Our guests pay for excursions individually, meaning they only pay for the attractions and activities they actually wish to enjoy.
Who Are the Hosts at Habachklause?
Habachklause has been lovingly managed by the Maier family since 1921. Today, the resort is run by the fifth generation of the family, Anja and Thomas Maier, who personally take care of their guests together with other family members.
This genuine family hospitality can be felt throughout the entire resort. Every family receives personal attention, individual wishes are valued, and many guest encounters develop into lasting connections.
With space for only around 40 families, Habachklause remains a small, welcoming family resort where guests can truly relax, feel recognized, and quickly feel at home.
