From an easy hike to mountain hike and peak experience
Around the Habachklause you can experience pure nature. Get a well filled rucksack, put on your hiking shoes and start your personal adventure. There are several routes, take a look at this selection. A special experience is to reach your first peak higher than 3000 meters.

The emerald trial (="Smaragdweg") is very interesting for the whole family. You enjoy the beautiful nature, get information about the minerals and the kids discover a new world:
There are several stages to play and have fun.
This trip is very easy to find, because it starts in front of the hotel Habachklause and you go along the Habach creek.
Highlights of the Smaradweg
"The force of the ball" - a mystic place of energy with a big ball of granite and a metal spiral - the symbol of creation and renewal.
A saga figure tells you the myth of the "Fazenwand".
The highlight of the emerald trail is the mudslide near the inn "Alpenrose". There you can search for emeralds and other beautiful minerals - don't forget to take hammer, chisel and sieve with you, those items are available at the reception.
The romantic "Moa-Alm" and the lake "Ahornsee" form the end of the emerald trail midst in a unique mountanous silhouette

Professional hiking
Hiking from one mountain shelter to another one via steep tracks in the mountains. Alpine boots can be rent free of charge for 2 days at the shop Sport 2000 Herzog in Neukirchen.

Up to 3,000 meters and more. In the National Park Hohe Tauern there are many mountain hikes.

Tauern bike bath
One of the most beautiful bike tours is the Tauern Bike Path along the river Salzach from Krimml to Salzburg City. If you run out of puff use the train or bus for return.
City bikes, mountain bikes and bikes for children are offered free of charge for all guests of the Baby and Kinderhotel Habachklause. There are also helmets and childrens seats.

Minigolfing in Neukirchen am Großvenediger. It's open daily from 10am till 10pm if the weather is fine.
Golf club Mittersill - 18-hole course
As a founder hotel of the Mittersill Golf Club, we offer our guests preferential start times, special greenfee prices, golf-courses with course-permission test and individual lessons with one of the experienced professionals. There are weekly tournaments and the attractive Alpine Golf Pass, as well as a reasonably priced permanent membership. In the interim, the children are well cared for in the Habachklause with fun and action so that sufficient time remains for you to pursue your favourite hobby.

High rope course & paragliding

High rope course NO LIMIT
In the Dürnbach barrier in Neukirchen there are 30 stations indicated between the trees, between 8 and 25 meters above the ground. A rope garden trainer shows how it works and helps if anyone gets stuck. A special adrenaline-kick for adults and children from approx. 10 years on (1,40 metres body height). The speiclal equipment (helmet and climbing harness) can be rented free of charge.
Mega Flying Fox
Fly over a valley savely - that's the mega flying fox. In Neukirchen, every adventurous person can fly over the "Dürnbachschlucht" in 160 metres height. Suitable for the whole family (children from 6 years and older).
Wildwater Tubing
Cruise along the river Salzach with an inflated rubber raft!
You get a wetsuit as well as a life jacket and the adventure is getting started. You only have to bring shoes, a towel and bathing clothes.

Canyoning
Tours for beginners, thrill seekers and canyoning enthusiasts! Children must be at least 10 years of age. So, let's get wet!
Archery
Have you ever used a bow and an arrow? An expert will show you how to use it. Try it, it's fantastic! Minimum age: 12 years
