Winter sportsman will love the Wildkogel Arena and the skiing areas around Kitzbühel, Zillertal and Zell am See/Kaprun. A real pleasure give the kilometre-long slopes for both beginners and pros. Unique is the 14 kilometre long tobbogan run in Bramberg - it goes all the way from the top station of the Smaragdbahn cable car down to the valley.
Wildkogel Ski-Arena on 2.000 metres
The Ski-Arena Wildkogel in Bramberg/Neukirchen, only 3 km from the Baby and Kinderhotel Habachklause away, is the perfect place to learn skiing - ideal for families with children, ski beginners, refreshers and advanced learners.
"Feel save with convidence" - this is the motto of the Wildkogel-Arena for an unforgettable winter.
There are two Kinderlands, where kids can learn skiing with instructors in the mountains:
- at the mountain station of the Smaragdbahn in Bramberg,
- at the mountain station of the Wildkogelbahnen in Neukirchen.
Ski busses are operating between hotel and cable car systems, timetable for download.
Ideal for families
You can find the family friendly Ski Arena in the Kitzbühel Alps. This ski region offers 75 km of superbly groomed hills and is ideal for families and reentrants. Most of the pists (85 %) are blue (=beginners) and red (=intermediate) marked. Skiing in springtime is guaranteed by modern snowmaking equipment.
In the Wildkogel Ski Arena there are 3 cabin lifts (two in Bramberg and the other one in Neukirchen), 2 6-seater chair lifts, 2 quad chair lifts and 6 tow lifts.
Two more lifts can be found in the valley in Neukirchen at the "Eggerfeld" and "Preimislift". Also in Bramberg in Wenns are two tow lifts at the "Wennsergletscher" with Kinderland and snow-tubing.

Skiing in Kitzbühel
You can comfortably reach the 1.890m high skiing area Kitzbühel with the Panoramabahn cable car in Hollersbach, only 10km away from the hotel.
Skiing holiday with 170km slopes and 55 lift systems from Hollersbach/Salzburg to Kirchberg/Tyrol - in between are the 3S-Bahn and the world famous Kitzbüheler Streif, where the Hahnenkamm-Worldcup-Skirace takes place every year in January.
The skiing region Kitzbühel is ideal for skiers who prefer a larger Skiing area and love variety.
Zillertal-Arena - Entry Hochkrimml/Gerlosplatte
The Zillertal Arena in Salzburg/Tyrol has 166 perfectly groomed slope-kilometres and 49 modern lifts. You can ski in Zell am Ziller/Tirol, Gerlos, Wald-Königsleiten and Krimml - this big area is included in the bought ski ticket. You just have to drive about 20 minutes per car to get there.
Weißsee Glacier World
The Weißsee Glacier World is a snow reliable skiing area in 1.480 - 2.600 metres height in Salzburg. 21 unique slope-kilometres and really long touring slopes in a breathtaking scenery.
Kitzsteinhorn - Zell am See - Kaprun
Skiing at the Kitzsteinhorn glacier on 3.000 metres above the sea. Natual snow is guaranteed the whole winter.
The gondolas "Gletscherjet" 1 and 2 will bring you to the "Alpincenter" on 2.450 metres above the sea, where you can enjoy the beautiful mountain panorama. From here you can go all the way up with the "Gletscherbahn".
Schmitten Zell am See
Slopes in a total lenght of 77 kilometres await every passionate skier and snowboarder. The Schmitten is a really modern skiing area with 5 valley ski runs, a funpark and a skimovie-slope.

Ski rental and ski service
No matter if you need skis, ski sticks, skiboots and a helmet or a snowboard and boots - the sports shops in Bramberg and Neukirchen offer everything you need to rent or buy for your skiing holiday.
If the whole family hires skis for the same period, children to 7 years receive the equipment fro free. The equipment comprises skis, sticks, shoes and head protection for children. Binding adjustment is included in the price, change to a different length of ski or model or to a snowboard is possible at all times.

Snow conditions: The baby skiing course in front of the hotel only takes place if there is enough snow. The rough period is from starting winter season in December till first half of March.

Tobogganing & ice skating
The Habachklause toboggan & ski slope with free rope lift guarantees pure fun!
We have enough toboggans, sleds and slides ready for you free of charge. You are of course welcome to bring your own bob.
The world's longest floodlight tobbogan run
Have you ever used the 14 km long toboggan run, which is floodlit in the evening till 10pm?
There are two cabin lifts for tobogganists (and also for skiers) taking you over 2000 m above sea level:
- Smaragdbahn in Bramberg: Here you can start sledding immediately at the top station.
- Wildkogelbahnen Neukirchen: After a 20-minute walk you can use the toboggan to go down to the village Bramberg.
Evening-timetable of the cable cars and shuttles
You can use the cable cars for sledding in the evening every Friday until 6.30 pm by the Smaragdbahn in Bramberg.
Note! To use the cable cars after 4.15pm is only possible with a toboggan ticket, but not with the regular ski-pass!

Ice skating
There is a ice skating ground in Bramberg am Wildkogel. While the kids skate around, the parents can drink mulled wine or coffee on the sun terrace of the Sportstüberl. In the evening it's lighted.

Deeply snow covered valleys, frozen waterfalls, a few paw prints of deer and rabbits in the snow. This and a lot more is to discover in the valles of the Hohe Tauern National Park and the Wildkogel Arena.

Wildlife feedings in the Habachtal Valley
A special trip is the one to the wildlife feedings in the Habachtal Valley. An exciting experience for the whole family (kids older than 6 years).
Torchlight hike
You can find a torchlight hike in "Klausi's News" (=program of the Kids Club, you get it when arriving). It takes about 30 minutes and you can use a buggy.
Cross-country skiing
Cross-country ski trail - Pinzga Loipe
In Bramberg and Neukirchen there are 45 km of a cross country ski track. If this is not enough, you can use the Pinzga Loipe with more than 200 km. You can start directly at the Baby and Kinderhotel Habachklause.
The loipe in Bramberg/Wenns is also lighted in the evening.
Sometimes it's also possible to use the Hochmoor-Panoramaloipe still in March, because you can find it at 1,250 meters over the sea level.
